Lund University Global Scholarship 2022 | Free Tuition Fees Study

Lund University Global Scholarship programme is a highly selective and merit-based scholarship programme that recognizes students with top academic talent from outside the European Union/European Economic Area. Similarly, the scholarship is available for students who wish to apply for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Program offered at Lund University. Participating students will receive between 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of the tuition fee scholarship. That will enable each student to ease his studies’ financial burden. The scholarship currently takes place at Lund University in Sweden; the field ad level of study includes, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Programmes and all accredited courses offered at the university the number of scholarships is not specific. The Lund University Global Scholarship is targeted at citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland)

Scholarship Value, Benefits and Duration

The Lund University Global Scholarship may cover 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of the tuition fee.  Please note that scholarships are toward tuition fees only and that living costs are not covered.

Eligibility Criteria for Lund University Global Scholarship

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • You must be a citizen of a country from outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) and are required to pay a tuition fee

If you do not meet the admission requirements to Lund University, if you have not selected a Lund University programme/course as your first choice/choices at or if you cannot secure the funding needed to cover living costs, as required by the Swedish Migration Board.

How to apply for Lund University Global Scholarship

To apply for a Lund University Global Scholarship, you must first apply for the programme(s) or free-standing course(s) you wish to study at Lund University using the online, national application during the application period  (16 October – 15 January) for studies starting in the autumn semester. Note that a few programmes do not open for applications until 1 December).

Once you have made a complete application to a degree programme or free-standing courses of at least 30 ECTS credits and paid the application fee, you will be able to apply for the scholarship at the official website during the scholarship application period.
